IEEE SB LBSCEK in association with SIDDHI ,present you with '  WATER ROCKET COMPETITION '.When fusion of best ideas & technology are brought together,the rocket of knowledge reaches its height.

Guidelines

. Maximum 2 participants. These Participants can be from different colleges too.

. Competition stage:
1.Clearing the requirements.
2.aribone stage.
3.maximum distance and landing.

· The rocket and its components must be handmade.

· The rocket body should be made only with plastic bottles of aerated soft drinks of maximum capacity 2.5L .

· The water rocket must use only compressed atmospheric air as its source of energy.

.Water rockets can have multiple stages.Parachute,gliding mechanisms are permitted.

.Use of electronic components and chemical explosives are banned.

.Can use different rocket for different stages,with same design.

All colleges, high schools and higher secondary schools in the state can take part in the contest that aims to provide solutions to issues that affect society and public with the help of science and technology. 

 

The Startups Valley TBI (Supported by DST, Govt. of India), functioning at the Amal Jyothi College of Engineering Kanjirapally would provide technical support to the contest.

Ideas on Rebuilding Kerala

Dear All,
Kerala is witnessing its most affected natural disasters of the
decade. Hundreds of people has lost their lives and thousands are left homeless due to heavy landslips and flash floods. The government and
other agencies are now looking forward on taking innovative measures
to recuperate from the loss and normalize the common life.

IEDC of Sullamussalam Science College in association with Dept. of Broadcasting & Journalism is conducting an intercollegiate Idea pitching
contest on this regard.

As the youth have already proved their vital role by various activities for surviving the flood and associated disasters. We invite innovative suggestions and ideas for Reconstruction of Kerala in multiple perspective.

The creative ideas shall be from following areas,

1.      Rehabilitation
2.      Relief and Rescue
3.      Fund raising methods
4.      Education and counselling
5.      Waste management
6.      Productive use of technology and social media
7.      Destructed land utilization
8. Disaster resilient kerala
